Hi, I am an acoustic guitar player and songwriter (I can also play a little piano) who has been looking for a singer to work with. I have written plenty of songs (mostly with fingerpicking-style guitar playing), but I'm not a good singer. You can listen to a few of the songs at:

http://www.myspace.com/christopherrichter

The sound quality of the recording is pretty poor, but hopefully you can at least get some idea about my songwriting from them.

I'd be open to working with either a male or female singer, but I would like to find someone who is a Christian to collaborate with. I'm currently living in Allen, so I'd also like to find someone to work with who lives in or at least relatively near there (i.e. Plano, McKinney, Frisco, Richardson, etc.). Give a listen to the songs & if you like what you hear there you can E-Mail me at TSOL6@hotmail.com or send me a message on my Myspace.

It may already be too late for them. Consider the guitar before it gets you too!

Does anyone you know wish they knew how to play the guitar?
Do they sometimes pick up a tennis racket or something else around the house to use as a prop and pretend that they already know? You probably know this already, but that is what is known as "air guitar". It's never a pretty site, and if not stopped, can be a life-altering, horrific tragedy. People have been doing it for years, and unless you witness it firsthand, you dont realize the depths of this sickness! And the person performing this act usually has no idea what he/she is doing at the time.
If you know someone like this, please help them, help us all, help yourself! Spare him/her the further embarrassment before they do it at work, or at a party, or at some holiday function that they will never be able to live down, because its only a matter of time that it will be caught on video or end up on the web. Then it will be too late for them and you! For then you will either be forced to disown them, never see or talk to them again, or forever avoid attending any and all events with them, depending on the severity of the incident.
Its as simple as an email reply to this ad, or whatever suits your needs. I can help you and here is how:
I'm a young 36 y.o. Guitar Instructor in Plano, and am offering my services to help with the purchase, advice, leg-work, and/or all of the above for anything you may need to help a guitar/music lover get started playing- AT NO CHARGE WHATSOEVER!! If they have a passion for the instrument, I would love to help them learn, and I am in music stores daily due to my occupation and helping a few people with a purchase or two, would be my pleasure--- so long as I would be the chosen teacher for their lessons! And all the future student would need to provide, is the passion for the guitar or a strong "like" of the guitar with a passion for music.
You let me know what you need, what you may be looking for, or if you have no idea at all and very little time, I will lead you in the direction most suitable to you, and/or handle the whole thing for you if you so desire. You can even purchase guitar lessons for the person, as i would provide you with a gift card to present to them, and if possible, set a tentative lesson schedule for them prior to receiving their gift. I'm very open, flexible, and somewhat available depending on day/time.
**** Please reply to this ad for any and all info on guitar lessons, or for any other questions and/or suggestions and I will promptly get back with you! ****

***Together we can kill the evil 'air guitar' sickness before it kills us!!!!***

Sincerely,
Ken
