Hiring for an experienced Dog Trainer with 3-5 years of previous training experience.

About Us : Bliss Pet Resort and Spa is Prosper’s first and only luxury dog boarding and doggie daycare center. We are looking for people that want to grow with our team long term! Daily tasks Include : Provide obedience training for daycare and boarding dogs. Teach a variety of training classes to our clientele. Sell training services to our clientele. When not training, work in the Kennel Tech role with our daycare and boarding dogs providing engagement and supervision for dogs in play groups. Facilitating daily care for dogs in boarding (including feeding, administering mediation, taking out for walks and potty breaks, among other tasks).-Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs.-Maintaining cleanliness of our play yards and facility. Minimizing the stress of the dogs in our care by providing effective management and being responsive to their needs.-Working as a member of a team in a fast paced environment by using effective communication skills.

Work Hours vary between 6:30am and 8pm every day of the week. Shifts vary between 4-6 hours and some days you may be asked to work two shifts with a one and a half hour lunch in between. Flexible availability is preferred. Seeking to hire part time team members for 20-30 hours a week working with our boarding and day care dogs.

Compensation: $10-$11/hour plus sales commission

Minimum requirements : - 3-5 years of previous dog training experience. High School Graduate or GED-Excellent oral communication skills.- Self-motivated, independent worker.-Proven ability to follow instructions and learn new things.-Ability to work in a team environment.-Takes initiative on the job.-Must be able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand on ones feet for long periods of time.
