This position is based from your home office, preferably in an East Coast city close to a major airport, though we are open to top candidates in the Midwest. Being tech savvy is a huge plus as we need people with a sound understanding of social media, technology, and the business travel sales cycle. Our worldwide sales team has built an extensive network of partnerships to grow visibility and revenue for the Best Western brand. What you'll do:

As the Worldwide Sales Manager - East Coast, you'll build relationships with our major clients, working closely with decision makers to promote our services throughout the region. Your primary mission will be to understand and provide solutions to assigned accounts in order to increase room nights, revenue, and market share. Targeted sales calls, participation in local sales chapters, attendance at trade shows, and promoting the brand to customers and members will keep you energized and successful. Your consultative customer relationship skills, including the ability to solicit feedback, identify issues, and recommend enhancements to products or services will generate continued growth for you and for our organization.

What you'll bring:

At a minimum, you'll have two or more years of sales experience in a similar role. Ideally, you will have hotel sales experience, although we will also consider previous experience in the hospitality industry combined with a strong background in account management and sales. Solid analytical skills will be required as you assess needs, create strategies and measure responses for the accounts and preferred partners you manage. Strong Microsoft Office knowledge will give you an advantage as you develop and support sales presentations and information for clients. You will be a proficient CRM user, ideally with Salesforce, in order to fulfill your duties preparing reports on sales results, market conditions, and key account metrics.
