The SVP Sales Executive is responsible for leading the Business Banking Client Segment sales team within Bank of America Merchant Services. The Business Banking Client Segment is aligned to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Global Business Banking, which provides banking services to commercial clients with annual sales revenue from 5 million to 50 million. This role is responsible for developing sales and client development strategies to grow revenue and drive client loyalty by deepening relationships, through a partnership with the Global Business Banking team. This executive participates in the development of long:range strategic plans to grow and retain revenue under contract. A key part of this role is working across various functions within the organization, First Data, and Bank of America to execute against the strategic and financial plan.
:Manage team of region based sales directors.
:Assume accountability for setting and meeting all sales forecasts for the group.
:Develop strategies, processes and plans that enable the segment to help clients meet their business goals while achieving key performance metrics for merchant services.
:Translate strategies into specific goals, tactics, sales plays, action plans and deliverables; and create competitive, innovative business plan to drive short and long term growth.
:Define and measure teams against objectives and metrics. Instill a culture of discipline, energy, high performance, and accountability.
:Contribute to the development of long:range plans, including strategies, processes and initiatives that will drive long term growth and profitability.
:Influence peers, partners and key stakeholders regarding issues that will help improve company performance.
:Serve as an integral member of the management team and develop strong relationships with key bank partners, product and support partners, and other business partners as needed.
:Responsible for selecting, coaching, and growing high performing managerial and sales talent.
:Manage organization using a consistent set of sales management routines to monitor and evaluate team performance against quota attainment, client retention, year over year portfolio revenue growth, contract renewals, and margin preservation through management of pricing and compression.
:Responsible for driving a culture where associate engagement and development are a strategic priority.Preferred Skills
:Experience delivering payment expertise to merchants across multiple payment channels as a trusted business partner.
