We are looking for part-time and “as needed” drivers at our catering division. Drivers must have a standard valid TX DL. To drive a Sonny Bryan’s company van, you must be over 25 years of age due to insurance requirements. There is no age requirement if you drive your own auto for deliveries. We currently have both male and female drivers. You must be healthy enough to lift 30 lbs at a time and you must be able to communicate in English.

Experience in food service is helpful, but not required. Training will be provided.

As a driver you will successfully pack, load, deliver, and set up catering orders for our customers. Depending on the size of the order, you may do these by yourself, or with another member of the catering staff. Drivers may also work on full service catering events that involve packing, loading, setting up equipment, serving food, & breaking down equipment as part of the catering team.

Work hours vary from week to week, depending on the number of catering events and the number of available drivers. The more days and times you are available to work, the more likely you are to be scheduled.

Most catering events occur between the hours of 10am and 9pm, but we also sometimes have events that occur in the early morning and late evening.

Pay Rate- Driver’s are paid $10.00 per hour plus a percentage of tips. If you use your own vehicle for a delivery you also get a flat $15.00 to cover your mileage.and 80% of the tip.

We also have need for:
Cook/ Cutter- cook with block experience but not required
Pay Rate- compatible with wages starting at $9.50 and up
