HDR Photography
HDR photography produces a greater dynamic range
between the lightest and darkest areas of a scene. This is done by
taking multiple shots (usually 3) of the same scene at varying exposures
(from light to dark) and then merging those images into one finalized
image. These HDR images are often quite stunning and more closely
resemble what the human eye sees in real life.
This process is more time
consuming and has limitations not associated with regular photography.
For instance, almost all HDR photography has to be done using a tripod
since the camera must be static while taking the varying exposures. Use
of strobe lights is not compatible with HDR photography. Only available
light, either natural and/or artificial, can be used in connection with
HDR photography.

Upon completion of a HDR photo shoot, there is
computer processing that must be done before the finalized images are
ready for the customer. Consequently a HDR photo project will be more
expensive than a typical photo project. More time is needed for actually
taking the photos plus the time needed to process the images.
HDR Pricing:
Although my hourly rate is the same for HDR photography, more time is
needed to produce HDR images. My rate is $40 per hour including travel
time to the location and image processing time. Hourly rates are billed in 1/2 hour
increments.
There is a two hour minimum paid in advance.
Payments from remote customers are only accepted
through
PayPal:

Samples of my
Aerial Photography
My aerial photography is done in a two seat open door
helicopter which allows for dramatic low altitude oblique photos. I use a high-quality
digital camera equipped with a telephoto
zoom lens. Within two hours after touch down customers are provided the
image files via the Internet with back-up copies burned onto a CD-R
disc. Pricing is based on flight time not the number of photos taken.
Prices start at $500 which includes up to one hour of flight
time. Each additional half hour is $175. There is a limit on total flight time
usually not more then 2.5 hours. Liftoff and landing occurs at the Garland, TX
Heliport. Intermediate landings and are not permitted.
