A global organization creates revolutionary technology and is looking for a Pilot to act as PIC for the companys travel; overseeing flight operations, and maintaining FAA compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree, 2000 PIC hours with 1000 MU:2 hours, and is Airline Pilot Transport certified. This is a great opportunity for the experienced MU:2 pilot to act as Pilot:in:Command and provide a high:level of technical expertise.
* Act as PIC for corporate travel.
* Maintain compliance for FAA regulations, fuel requirements, safety and security requirements, etc.
* Oversee flight operations, including: scheduling travel, maintenance, upgrades, FAA compliance, flight manuals, operating procedures, OSHA regulations, etc.
* Implement and manage a companywide SMS program.
* Collaborate with the Engineering Team; assisting with in:flight testing for research and development.
* Maintain updated knowledge of safety programs and best practices, and recommend improvements for flight safety.
* Assist with troubleshooting to resolve technical questions, and provide support for incident investigation, and litigation activities.
* Represent the company through speaking engagements, seminars, and events.
* Liaise with FAA, NTSB, AOPA, NBAA, etc. to resolve issues and concerns, as needed.
* Bachelors degree or higher.
* PIC : 2000 hours.
* MU:2 : 1000 hours.
* Commercial Pilot certificate, ATP preferred.
* Proven knowledge of FAR Part, 21, 23, (CAR 3), 39, 43, 91 Subpart N, and 135 regarding MU:2B operations.
* Maintain CFI, CFIIME, and Part 91 instructor currency requirement.
* Medical certification Class 2, required; Class 1, preferred.
* Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Able to travel domestically and internationally, and to attend flight safety and proficiency seminars as directed.
* Excellent attention to detail, and analytical and research skills; practicing extreme accuracy.
* Tech savvy with strong Microsoft Office skills.
