Torax Medical, a division of Ethicon US, LLC, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager covering the Central Region covering TX/OK/KS/MO/WI/MN/SD/ND/IA/NE. The preferred candidate would reside in North TX - Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Torax Medical specializes in developing and marketing medical devices designed to treat sphincter disorders utilizing its technology platform, Magnetic Sphincter Augmentation (MSA).
Ethicon US LLC, a part of the Global Surgery Group within the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, offers a broad range of products, platforms and technologiesâincluding, ultrasonic and advanced bipolar energy devices, sutures, surgical staplers, clip appliers, trocars and synthetic mesh devicesâthat are used in a wide variety of minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. Specialties include support for treatment of colorectal and thoracic conditions, womenâs health conditions, cancer, obesity, general, plastic, orthopedic, and urology.
The Regional Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Manages multiple territories within a region and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate for each territory. Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales utilization.
He/she is responsible for following established Torax Medical Inc. CCP/CMP/ISO/MDD/HIPPA compliant quality system practices and completing all specific training requirements.
Within assigned regional territory and in coordination with other Regional Sales Managers and VP Sales US LINX:
Build and manage regional sales teams
Manage a team of sales representatives and conduct periodic field visits to develop their selling skills.
Coach sales representatives to achieve individual development plans.
Responsible for coaching and career development of sales representatives.
Recruit and hire to ensure that all territories are filled with the most qualified sales associates.
Develop and maintain a forward-looking regional sales strategy that aligns with overall sales strategy
Responsible for Torax Medical's revenue growth within assigned regional territory
The RM leads the sales representatives to implement and execute sales demand strategies.
Provide sales representatives with sufficient support, supervisory oversight, and customer engagement to achieve or exceed the division's sales forecasts.
Responsible for the coaching and career development of the sales representatives.
Manage and coordinate the sales team and resources to deliver profitable growth
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
Partner with management teams to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to Torax Medicalâs customers
Within Regional Territory:
Comprehensive business plan for each one of those Centers; incorporate best practices from other TMs in building and executing those business plans and activities with the TMs on a weekly basis. Every implanting physician & every referring physician is written out and has weekly activities assigned to achieve success.
RMs will also have direct responsibility for making sure we have comprehensive plans in place to grow our business based on the specific sales territories requirements. RMs provide oversight to ensure that we continue to meet and exceed all compliance obligations as we grow and expands are responsible to identify and foster relationships with key regional stakeholders and decision makers across their top facilities.
RMs will utilize business acumen tools to identify facility specific growth opportunities and will align appropriate resources to these opportunities.
RMs will build physician relationships within each territory and will lead their team to execute the selling process in a concise, compliant, professional, ethical, and persuasive manner; leading the customer to action. This will include upholding criteria for onboarding any new Centers. Oversee, coach and management of sales activities for an assigned geographic area or product/service line to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives

To be considered for this role:
Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management
More than 7+ years relevant business and/or leadership experience required.
More than 5+ years in clinical sales, marketing, professional education, sales learning/ development, or commercial functional experience is strongly preferred.
Two years of experience coaching or mentoring others is also required.
A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States is required.
The ability to travel, including overnight and/or weekends, up to 60% of the time is also required.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical technology, pricing practices, and selling skills is preferred
Technical understanding with the ability to analyze and present information is preferred
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures is preferred.
