Quality Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Job Title: Administrative Assistant : Intermediate Location: Varies
Department: Administration/Quality FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Reports To: Director of Clinical Quality Improvement
SUMMARY: Primary responsibility is to provide administrative support to the Director of Clinical Excellence of the assigned service line.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
:Acts as a liaison between VP/SVP of Operations, the Director of Clinical Excellence, and agency leadership to facilitate meeting service line objectives in an efficient and timely manner.
:Generates reports accurately and in requested time frame as assigned.
:Maintains policy database for service line specific policies
:Timely and accurate submission of Hospice Item Set (HIS) data to CMS for all hospice markets, and/or OASIS data for all home health markets as assigned
:Coordinate and maintain patient admission book contents per service line
:Coordinate and maintain service line specific orientation materials and assist with coordination/scheduling as needed.
:Adhere to all company policies and procedures
:Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone's responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems.
NON:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
:Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Educations/Licensing/Certification:
:High school diploma/GED, College preferred
Experience:
:Prior experience in general office support
Knowledge and Skills:
:Knowledgeable of government home health regulations, CMS/Medicare Coverage requirements/guidelines for home care services preferred
:Excellent organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, time management skills.
:Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
:Exceptional understanding of exemplary customer service.
:Team player, flexible, detail oriented and able to work independently.
:Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office and Outlook
:Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
