JOB TITLE: Regional Director of Operations
REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer (COO)
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for the successful launch, stabilization and continued daily operations of all pediatric and orthodontic dental offices in the Texas Market. This is a boots on the ground position that requires a high level of involvement at each new office during the pre:opening and post:opening period of operation.
OPERATIONAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Supervise and coordinate the following new clinic development tasks:
: Hiring and
onboarding/training of staff
: Implementation of ideal clinical set:up (equipment, inventory, IT and operatory arrangement, marketing roll out, etc.) to be provided by the COO with employee providing feedback for continuous improvement
Work with Senior Management Team to refine standardized processes and protocols required to create an effective and efficient dental practice and regional group practice organization.
Work with Senior Management Team to ensure the opening of new offices are on time and on budget.
Manage to monthly, quarterly and annual production forecasts and budgets and provide regular feedback on the targets.
Provide store level leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
Actively support the dentists, clinical staff and office staff in creating an exceptional patient and parent experience.
Actively support the dentists, clinical staff, office staff and marketing team (internal and external) to rapidly build new patient flow and dental case acceptance.
Engage with the local community to drive clinic awareness, education, and new patient volume.
Provide daily oversight to the KPIs of each practice under development.
Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development and retention of clinic:based staff.
Implement effective practice management strategies and lead store level personnel toward achievement of corporate objectives.
Educate, train and maintain a culture of safety and compliance with all staff on all safety and privacy protocols including OSHA and HIPAA.
Work with company HR function in the management of personnel issues and provide discipline to employees where necessary.
Implement budget control.
Provide supervision through site visits, observations and measurement of results to include performance reviews and salary reviews.
Work with Senior Management Team in the development of key customer relationship management.
Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Accounting, Compliance, Insurance Billings, etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities.
Maintain competitive knowledge and adjust marketing and sales strategies.
