PRIMARY PURPOSE Responsible for leading IT and iquest;s Quality Assurance team and administering all Release management activities across IT. The QA team is responsible for coordinating monthly integrated testing efforts and overseeing the quality assurance phase of software implementations through test planning and execution of complex, cross:functional systems. Release Management activities include creating and enforcing release standards and guidelines, scheduling, coordinating and management of releases across multiple IT teams and technologies. Releases include application updates, operating system and security patches, hardware upgrades and new project implementations. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education: : Must have a Bachelors degree. Experience: : Must have 8 years of solid IT experience in applications, systems analysis, QA, and/or technical development. : Must have 3 years of Quality Assurance software/hardware/interface testing experience. : Must have 2 years of previous release and/or project management experience. : Prefer experience in the healthcare market. : Prefer experience with Epic, ITIL Release Management, and working with software testing tools. Equivalent Education and/or Experience : May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements. Certification/Registration/Licensure: : Prefer quality assurance testing certification, such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or CSTE (Certified Software Tester). : Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS:700.A: National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction or obtain within 30 days of placement in role. : Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS:100.HCB: Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS 100) for Healthcare/Hospitals or obtain within 30 days of placement in role. : Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS:200.HCA: Applying ICS to Healthcare Organizations (ICS 200) or obtain within 30 days of placement in role. Skills or Special Abilities: : Must possess an excellent understanding of full development and testing lifecycle methodologies. : Must understand integration points and dependencies between applications, middleware, hardware, operating systems, and end:user devices. : Must possess an excellent understanding of test planning execution in a complex application and technical environment. : Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross:functional work teams toward task completion while managing several projects and issues concurrently. : Demonstrated effective leadership, analytical, and organizational skills. : Demonstrated ability to develop and implement policies and procedures for process improvement. : Must possess advanced verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to develop and deliver executive presentations. : Must be detail oriented. : Must be a self:starter with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and on an independent basis. : Must be able to lead the effort in creative problem solving and identifying alternative solutions and directions.
