PRIMARY PURPOSE The Vice President of Total Rewards is a strategic leader responsible for the design and implementation of Parklandss Total Rewards Strategy. The Vice President is responsible for ensuring all reward programs are competitive, sustainable, scalable and aligned with the organizations short and long:term strategic goals. This leader must thrive well in a fast:paced environment and through collaboration with leadership throughout the organization, will ensure that all reward programs drive performance and support the organizations strategy to attract, motivate and retain employees.

This individual will provide strategic oversight for delivery of all the services in the following areas:
Compensation, Benefits, Employee Wellness and all related technology.

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
: Must have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
: Prefer Masters degree in Business, Human Resources or related field of study.

Experience:
: Must have 15 years senior leadership (Director and above) experience leading the development of a complex, integrated and strategic Benefits and Compensation program in a corporate environment.
: Must have 12 years experience in human resources benefits administration, benefits financing, and policy development.
: Must have 12 years experience in salary/compensation planning and administration at both staff and executive level.
: Must have a minimum seven years of executive and broad:based compensation, including program design and administration.
: Must have a minimum seven years experience in regulatory environment (HIPAA, ERISA, FLSA, etc.) governing plan design of compensation, benefits, including understanding fiduciary responsibilities and financial management.
: Must have demonstrated track record of the ability to improve HR systems and enhanced operational efficiencies.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:
: May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:
: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
: Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) preferred.
: Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS:700.A: National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction within 30 days of placement in role.
: Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS:100.HCB: Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS 100) for Healthcare/Hospitals within 30 days of placement in role.
: Must have Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) course certification for IS:200.HCA: Applying ICS to Healthcare Organizations (ICS 200) within 30 days of placement in role.

Skills or Special Abilities:
: Must have extensive knowledge and proven experience working in the employee benefits field, including strategic planning and program design, budget forecasting, cost benefit analysis, administration, vendor management and communication planning.
