The Purchasing Analyst actively participates in the company:wide procurement process, which includes supporting 70 Neovia facilities in US and Canada in areas concerning vendors, pricing, purchasing systems, sourcing, training and purchasing processes for commodities that include packaging, staffing, office supply products, travel services, industrial supplies, safety/uniforms, and capital expenditures. . This role involves significant supplier interaction and timely collaboration with internal stakeholders. Provide support to Requisitioners in various issues including: System errors that require Purchasing to correctMaster data updates to Purchasing system within 24 hoursPurchasing processesReview blocked purchase requisitions for errors or omissions before releasing into approval process.Process new vendors requests and liaise with buyer for cost analysisLiaise with master data team to obtain and maintain non:disclosures and insurance certificates for existing vendors.Liaison between approvers and master data team for Approver changes Spot Quote one:time:only vendors and associated materials. Communicate with vendors on status of outstanding orders as well as discrepancies with quality and quantity on receipts Stay abreast of trends and market conditions for present and future pricing, availability, lead:time and capacity of goods and services Comply with company policy and procedures. Process vendor price changesAcquire and maintain a general understanding of indirect materials and servicesWork with Accounting to resolve invoice issues, when required Create standard SAP dashboard reportsParticipate on special projects as requestedKnowledge of purchasing processes Advanced organizational ability, planning and prioritization skillsMust be detail oriented Strong communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written).General knowledge of purchasing terminology, inventory, accounting, and cost:management Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment Prioritize and execute tasks in a high:pressure, fast paced environment SAP procurement systemIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Customer and supplier relationship building and management skills Required Education/ExperienceSAP Purchasing experience required Associates Degree and average of 2:4 years prior procurement experience Neovia Logistics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
