The Material Availability Planner will provide parts availability, expediting, and inventory support for clients under general guidance. Responsible for purchase order management and follow:up, estimated material arrival communication, and material availability forecasting. Effectively managing a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring key deliverables are achieved in line with the ClientA?s requirements are essential expectations of this role.Managing and monitoring the status of ordered parts/materialsExpediting or de:expedite delivery of items to meet requirementsEstablishing root cause for delivery failures and poor performance, create action plans, and lead resolution of issuesCommunicating to and working closely with the Client, Supply Base, Customer Support, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Operations Executing work instructions and IM processes to perform tasksManaging and leading supplier recovery plans for selected Client suppliersHandling internal/external escalations where appropriate, any issues/areas needing attention to improve parts supply.Supporting and engaging buyers to resolve commercial issues.Supporting and driving suppliers to achieve delivery schedule compliance.Performing supplier Improvement responsibilities (e.g., identify key vendors, measure delivery performance, set expectations, and engage all stakeholders to ensure supply chain is efficient and effective).Sustaining and improving the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIA?s) on availability, back order/past due reduction, and material ETA coverage.Other duties as assigned, including occasional travel. Four year degree from an accredited university in a closely related field or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and related experience.At least 1 yearA?s relevant experience preferred. Skills and Competencies:Effective verbal and written communication skills.ERP system user experience.Supplier management experience. Data querying from multiple sources experience.Strong planning and organizing skillsMust be target driven, persistent, take ownership and be a self:starterInterpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co:workers, clients, and other business colleagues.Ability to work independently, in teams, and with team members in multiple locations.Experienced in MS office including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Neovia Logistics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
