The Lead Social & Digital Manager will execute strategy and drive day-to-day activities across key social properties for a leading Fortune 10 brand. The candidate would work in tandem with the Business Units and Media Relations teams and would report directly to the Chief Storyteller/Social Strategist.


Social Management
Lead team in maintaining best practices and content strategy standards
Manage social presence across platforms including and not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram
Drive engagement across social platforms and with key brand influencers and ambassadors
Develop editorial calendar aligning social with experiential, influencer outreach and corporate initiatives and prioritize accordingly
Stay abreast of trending topics or other social trends to leverage accordingly for brand/client content
React to issues that may have impact via social and needs to be addressed for crisis/reputation management

Content Strategy and Development
Create multimedia content from text to images and video for social visual storytelling across social platforms
Liaise with paid Social Media team to coordinate earned and paid media on social
Apply content and publishing best practices for brands to optimize awareness and discovery
Optimize content strategy based off data
Stay abreast of industry news and updates, and communicate internally accordingly
Regularly meet with brands and internal teams to develop day to day strategy
