Location: Plano

Position Summary: The Human Resource Specialist, under general direction, will independently act as key contact for employees by providing daily support and performing a variety of personnel and payroll transactions. This role will manage employee information, personnel, payroll, staff recruitment, benefits administration, medical and personal leave, and special projects.

Qualified Candidates will have:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHR certification and/or SHRM-CP preferred, but not required.

< > knowledge and familiarity with Human Resources concepts, practices, procedures and basic employment laws.
Strong organization and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal relationship-building and people skills.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.

Intermediate to Advancedskills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to solve problems and use discretion in handling a variety of sensitive, confidential matters.
