ABOUT METROCARE:Metrocare is the largest provider of mental health services in Dallas County, serving more than 52,000 adults and children annually. For more than forty:nine (49) years, Metrocare has provided an array of services available to people with mental and developmental disabilities. In addition to behavioral health services, Metrocare provides primary care centers for adults and children, accessible pharmacies, housing and supportive social services. Through the Altshuler Center for Education and Research and our software initiative, XenatiX, we are advancing mental health beyond Dallas County. The ECI Lead Business support position is responsible for coordinating and performing all clerical support needs for the ECI program amongst the business support team by ensuring family satisfaction, and flow of office operations. Provide mentorship, training, and quality assurance monitoring to other business support team members. Leads ECI Business Support and ECI Tkids Financial Support positions in implementation and maintenance of designated processes on the ECI team.Answers ECI office business line calls during hours of operation and provides backup support to medical records as needed.Processes all ECI referrals, incoming Parent Arranged, Parent Choice, or Not Part C progress notes in PsychConsult within assigned timelines and with accuracy. Processes all Program Permission for Therapies (PFTs) and weekly/monthly TKIDS data reports into the TKIDS system.Manages weekly Follow Along report and mailings. Creates and gathers medical charts, as needed.Gathers and processes all incoming faxes and mail.Maintains updated demographic information in PsychConsult. Greets and Checks:In all visitors at front desk stations. Places clinical transactions for evaluations in A?ShowA? status, as pletes daily confirmation calls for program evaluations and group therapy services. Confirms payor and completes financials authorizations as needed.Schedules all ECI referrals and transfer appointments for ECI providers.Requests and submits paperwork for translator/interpreter appointments for the program.Monitors programA?s 45:day and Time to Evaluation metrics and Invalid Payor Setup Report on a daily basis. Completes monthly financial coverage verification for all ECI children served. Coordinates needed supplies for team with Program Manager, as necessary.Attends ECI Team Meetings as required and participates in Community Outreach presentations, as needed.Performs other duties as assigned. Experience in a Texas DAR ECI program required. Experience in an office or MH/MR setting preferred.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with reports and numbers.
