The Finance Manager is responsible for the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, and provides analytical support for key business opportunities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:Acts as an active member of the RxO Finance management team (Business Partner) assisting in the preparation and determination of the strategy and plans.
:Provides insight into operational performance by identifying issues, trends or interesting findings, offering recommendations for improvements.
:Leads budget, quarterly forecast and variance analysis for special projects.
:Develops process to track actual savings vs. forecast commitments.
:Performs detailed monthly absorption analysis, manufacturing absorption by facility (Revenue vs COGS).
:Provides financial insight and knowledge into Financial IT system transition validation.
:Utilizes SAP's BI warehouse to analyze manufacturing data.
:Performs month:end analysis, consolidation, and journal entries.
:Lab equipment balance sheet control.
:Intra:facility mix calculation and planning.
:Facility balance sheet control.
:Improves and enhances reporting to enable improved decision making.
:Manages ad:hoc and urgent financial analysis requests.
:Analyzes and prepares financial reports, statements and projections, and effectively communicates those to non:financial managers.
:Ensures the standardization and the validation of the data supporting the BU management.
:B.S. degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience
:5+ years financial analysis experience
:Advanced Excel skills; proficient w/ PowerPoint
:Strong analytical skills
:Strong oral and written communication skills
:Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast:paced environment
:Demonstrates willingness and ability to be a self:starter, taking the initiative to solve problems
:Demonstrates the ability and desire to initiate and successfully accomplish personal and business goals
