Above all, Employees will be provided the same concern, respect, and caring attitude within the organization that they are expected to share externally with every Southwest Customer.The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the fuel management technology platform and optimization of end:to:end business process as it relates to fuel management technology through partnership with the Fuel Supply Chain Management Team and all other process stakeholder groups, including, but not limited to Technology, Finance (Corporate Accounting, Tax, Enterprise FP and A, Internal Audit, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Strategic Planning) and Operations. Work Activities/ContextBuilds and maintains proficient knowledge in end:to:end business processes (i.e. Fuel Supply Chain Management) and is knowledgeable in how fuel management technology facilitates those business processes. Maintains an understanding of how business processes may be enhanced through optimization of fuel management technology through continuous learning, participation in user forums, and A?best practiceA? research.Educates Internal Customers in core business process improvement, including when appropriate, where technology can be leveraged to improve business process efficiency and integrity.Assists the development of business cases to help prioritize opportunities and develop improvement projects. May be required to facilitate discussions with various Internal Customers to facilitate business case development.Participates heavily in system development/configuration, data conversion, testing, and implementation of system changes and maintains associated documentation.Serves as liaison between business users, external process stakeholders, and Technology support.
