Broadcast, Internet and Print Advertising. Branded Entertainment and licensing (design, placing, and ordering). Monitor Social Media Brand Presence. Intern will also assist in filing and updating databases. Prize fulfillment. Possible travel including site visits and photo shoots. Intern will be exposed to client side of advertising from concept to finished product, focusing on agency management.Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. EDUCATION: Progress towards degree, major, or minor in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, or related degree. Minimum junior level (60+ credit hours). To be eligible must be currently enrolled as a full time student (minimum 12 credit hours). Maintained 3.0 or above cumulative GPA. Experience: Relevant coursework such as: media planning, ad campaigns, ad research, ad planning, or creative development, is a plus. Familiarity with all media channels is a plus. Previous internship or work experience in an advertising agency or for a client is preferred. Experience creating strategy for advertising campaigns preferred. Project Management experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications. Advertising capstone coursework or case competition involvement is a plus. Previous part:time work experience or prior internship required. Skills/Abilities/Knowledge/Work Style: Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as a part of a Team. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and complete assignments with tight deadlines.
