Responsible for the development and scheduling of education tools and sessions as Education Coordinator for Parkland in its role as a Local AETC Partner.


-Must have a Bachelors degree in Public Health, Health Education, Community Health Education, or related field.

-Must have four years of experience in development and implementation of health education programs, community outreach and public speaking.
-Prefer experience in HIV/AIDS training, inservice educational/staff development processes, establishing and maintaining accredited CEU/CME programs and management activities.
Equivalent Education and/or Experience:
-May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.


Skills or Special Abilities:
-Must have computer skills, including database management and spreadsheet manipulation.
-Must be able to produce graphs with software.
-Must be able to analyze and interpret data.
-Must be able to demonstrate effective facilitator, presenter and speaking skills.
-Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behavior.
-Utilizes creativity and innovation in attaining desired outcomes.
-Uses a holistic approach and persists when solving problems.
-Works in a highly organized manner, capturing and attending to details as well as the bigger picture.
-Acts with a sense of urgency.
-Synthesizes information and shares it with a larger group.
