Great Opportunity for Pharmacy Technician to have a great careerA: Process Specialty Pharmacy medications within established guidelines, while providing detailed documentation via internal and external systems. A: Use various computer applications both internal and commercial to perform, but not limited to: item entry tasks, verify eligibility, setting up patient shipments A: Work in various claims processing systems. A: Support Customer Service in providing accurate and timely responses relating to order status, claim handling issues, and special processing circumstances as they arise. A: Provide exceptional customer service and responses in a timely and professional manner whether through incoming calls or outgoing calls. A: Initiate and/or respond to customer correspondence pertaining to new prescriptions, claim adjustments, payment inquiries, processing questions, or other product related inquiries. A: Assist supervisory personnel in the development and maintenance of injectable processing. A: Assist in providing on:the:job training to new staff members when requested. A: High School Diploma. Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred. A: 1+ years experiences in pharmacy operations, managed care, hospitals and /or retail environments. Previous experience in specialty or home infusion pharmacy is highly desirable but not required. A: Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred. A: Special Skills (e.g. 2nd language): A: Solid oral and written communication skills A: Experience in the use of pharmaceutical references A: Experience in evaluating information from both oral and written sources, pharmaceutical references and report information to pharmacists. A: Ability to identify clinical issues throughout all steps of prescription filling process and communicate to pharmacists. A: Ability to use Microsoft products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
