This position is for summer only. We need full time to start in May and Employment will end September 1st. This is a great summer job for a college student.
1:800:Radiator is a rapidly growing auto parts distributor with over 230 franchise locations across the country. Our location in the Dallas area has an immediate opening for a Customer Sales Representative.
This position presents the opportunity for an energetic and hard working individual to play a key role in the operation of an exciting business and learn the business.
1:800:Radiator sells and delivers automotive cooling parts to auto mechanics, collision repair shops, distributors, individual customers and car dealerships.

Primary Responsibilities:

:Process phone orders from primarily wholesale customers by soliciting vehicle information, conducting computer parts look:ups, pricing/specifying parts, and coordinating deliveries with drivers.
:Daily follow:up with new and repeat customers, suppliers, and corporate office regarding orders, shipments,
payments/collections, deliveries, marketing programs and other issues relating to the business.
:Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention.
:Initiate customer contacts to generate new business with shops who have not bought from 1:800:Radiator.
:Communicate important customer relationship issues to the owner.
:Promote the 1:800:Radiator brand and visibility.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
:Prior sales and customer service experience
:Knowledge of office and small warehouse operations
:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
:Strong computer skills with proficiency in Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPt
:Knowledge of automotive industry or cars in general a plus
:Positive attitude and willingness to learn
:Able to work independently and results oriented
:HS Diploma minimum

1:800:Radiator and A/C was founded in 1982 (then called Radiator Express Warehouse) to take advantage of the growing trend in the automotive aftermarket of radiator replacement versus repair. The initial warehouse in Union City, California, was one of the first outlets in the country dedicated to the wholesale distribution of new aftermarket radiators. We opened a second warehouse, in Sacramento, in 1989.
Throughout the 1990s the principal strategy for growth by 1:800:Radiator and A/C involved geographic expansion to provide same:day or next:day delivery to customers across the United States. Outlets were opened in Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Atlanta, Dallas, and Kansas City. At the same time, sophisticated marketing programs were established, and the telephone number 1:800:Radiator and the URL radiator were acquired. By 1996 the 1:800:Radiator brand was well known.
