ON Semiconductor is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join their DCDC/DrMOS team, located in Dallas, TX. As an analog design intern, you will have the opportunity _to design fundamental analog circuits that will be integrated to realize complex mixed signal ICs. Example circuit building blocks are analog switches, bandgaps, on chip regulators, comparators, differential amplifiers, audio amplifiers and other related subcircuits._
Performance Objectives:
This opportunity will ask a student to have the following performance objectives:
+ Analog circuit simulation and validation
+ Work with senior designers to learn ON-Semi procedures that facilitate more efficient designs.
+ Oversee circuit layout performed by layout technicians.
+ Work within a team to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
In order to be considered for an internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in school pursuing an accredited degree program. This position is specifically looking for at least three years completed toward BSEE. Completion of BSEE with ongoing masters work preferred.
+ Knowledge of electrical network analysis, transistor theory, and electronic circuits
+ Knowledge of analog layout techniques
+ Knowledge and experience with fundamental analog circuit parameters such as opamp gain, transistor characteristics, and electrical network analysis.
+ Experience with the Cadence analog design is a plus
+ Basic understanding of logic and logic design (digital circuit fundamentals).
+ Candidate must demonstrate ability to work on a team with a successful project outcome.
+ Team leader experience preferred.
+ Candidate must have a fundamental understanding of device physics.
