Provide phone and deskside support to users in an environment with 1000+ users geographically. Analyst supports all user systems to include Windows XP and Windows 7 PCs, laptops, BlackBerry devices, e-mail, directories, remote access, standard Windows desktop applications and specialized mission critical applications. Serves as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems. Diagnoses PC errors and provide technical support. Trains end-users how to setup and use new technologies. Installs operating systems using imaging technologies such as Ghost. Installs, configures, and upgrades software. Cleans and repairs computer hardware, such as keyboards and printers. Uses Remote Assistance to take remote control of end-users' computers to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues and errors. May assist with Audio Visual Events including requirements gathering, setup, breakdown, operation of equipment and troubleshooting. May unlock and reset network accounts May be required to support remote offices on special occasion (infrequent travel required) Manage Incident and Problem lifecycle using CA Service Center ITSM. Manage service requests and outages within Service Level Agreement framework. Assists in the development of Standard Operating Procedures. Assists with testing during operational maintenance windows (after-hours support) Participates in rotating on-call duties (after hours support) Job Requirements 3-5 years of experience Training in areas as Advanced Help Desk Technician courses, system configuration and maintenance, IT support specialist, and related areas is preferable Experience using Active Directory Users and Computers tool Well versed in troubleshooting operating systems, hardware, and software issues. Strong customer service skills are required Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to follow written and verbal instruction without supervision. Experience deploying laptops and PCs using imaging technologies.
