Top Three Skills:1) 3-5 years of Tier II Helpdesk or Desktop Support experience (Desktop candidates that have done mostly remote support)2) Experience with knowledge/support of desktop operating systems Windows 7/10, Windows 2003 and 2008, and MS Office 2013/2016/3653) 1 to 2 years' experience of supporting Apple smart phones4) Working knowledge of Active Directory and Citrix Job Description: Provide Tier II first level support of technology services & support to employees/vendors (internal and external) through the Credit Union's 24/7 Service Desk. Candidate will be responsible for providing initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution of incidents and requests regarding the use of application software products and infrastructure components. Provide technical support for (but not limited to) the following areas: computer and telecom incidents, desktop (hardware/software), third-party software/hardware applications. Trouble-shoot, diagnose and resolve complex desktop and network problems. Will work to create a positive end user support experience and build strong relationships through deep problem understanding, timely resolution or escalation, communicating promptly on progress all while displaying a professional attitude/appearance. The Service Desk Analyst will log all calls and offer triage services on first contact, monitor service levels, provide callback or escalation on open tickets, and monitor all systems and scheduling for uptime and completeness. Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting of applications, hardware, network, and procedural issues as necessary. Respond to telephone calls, email, and personal requests for technical support in a fast, friendly manner and have the ability to explain technical situations to non-technical individuals. Additional Information: Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or related field, or two years of equivalent progressive experience required (prior Service Desk experience preferred). * Recent, relevant and proven working knowledge/support of desktop operating systems (Win 7 and Win10), server operating systems (Windows 2008 and 20012), and associated applications (Internet Explorer and Adobe Reader). * Understanding of Microsoft Applications administration including the installation and support of Internet Explorer (10, 11) and Microsoft Office (version 2013 & 365). * Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Citrix. * Experience supporting Apple smart phones. * Experience monitoring networks using Solar winds & PRTG. * Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). * Telecom/Telephone application/infrastructure support experience beneficial * Experience with Software & Management Associate's (SMA) OpCon scheduling software beneficial. * Demonstrates ability and desire to learn company products and services and associated applications, technology, and terminology. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. * On-call availability 24/7 and willingness to work flexible shifts. * Capable of lifting and transporting moderately heavy objects, such as printers, computers and peripherals. * Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time while operating a computer. * A satisfactory performance and attendance record is required.
