POSITION SUMMARY:
Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of position):

• Opening and closing lobby each workday.
• Initial point of contact for all persons entering the Orthofix building.
• Answering and directing incoming calls, check after hour voice mail and disperse to appropriate individuals.
• Track all vendors, deliveries and repairmen for contract badges, screening of unscheduled visitors.
• Schedule courier service requests by Orthofix Inc employees.
• Receiving both “drop-ins” and scheduled candidates for interviews. Confirm employment application is completed.
• Assist with transportation services as needed for employees and candidates.
• Manage specialty orders and invoices including, catering, hotel, flowers, limo/taxi service as needed. Maintain invoices and code to appropriate departments.
• Assist with special projects as needed including: updating of Employee Directory, assisting Quality Department with FDA onsite visits, coordination of special events such as Carter Blood Drive.
• Backup to Office Services.
• Regular attendance required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Professional personal presentation with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
• Strong analytical skills and decision making abilities.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with an emphasis on quality.
• Excellent time management and task management skills are essential.

NONESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (not necessary but preferred):
• Experience answering multi-line phone systems.
• MS Office Suite experience including Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; frequently required to stand, walk and use business equipment daily such as P.C., copier, fax, telephone, etc.; required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 40 lbs. daily.
• Eyesight and hearing must be correctable to standard level.
