GuideCap Partners is a middle market investment banking firm. GuideCap is seeking a candidate who has a desire to leverage his/her skill set to work in the field of business valuations. The candidate will have experience in valuations, finance, accounting, or a financial field with a desire to learn business valuations. The analyst will be responsible for contributing on financial valuations and assisting in the preparation of valuation reports. The right candidate will be multifaceted with strong skills in financial statements, financial analysis, writing, research and have a good understanding of business principles. GuideCap is a flat organization and the candidate will have direct interaction with firm partners and clients. A professional presence, humble confidence, and excellent written and verbal communication are necessary. The candidate will have the potential to quickly rise to the level of his/her abilities and will be an important contributor on firm projects. Key Requirements

Job Responsibilities

Financial analysis and modeling
- Company and industry research
- Valuation analysis
- Valuation report writing

Job Qualifications
- BBA or MBA
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Major in finance or accounting
- Prior experience in a demanding financial environment (CPA firm, valuation firm, investment bank, credit analyst)
- Superior command of MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Completion or progress toward the CPA, CFA, ABV, or ASA is a plus
- One to four years of experience in a financial field such as public accounting, valuations, consulting, investment banking or a credit analyst at a bank
- History of community service, volunteer work or church involvement
