We sure can use your enthusiasm and abilities as a Centralized Accounting Manager with Interstate Hotels & Resorts!As a Centralized Accounting Manager, you will:Prepare monthly financial statements for 9 to 11 centralized hotels.Prepare and record journal entries for assigned hotels to meet the closing deadline and deliver accurate hotel financials for assigned hotels.Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations for assigned hotels.Monitor cash and the review/approval of cash requirements. Prepare monthly or weekly cash flow for hotels as needed.Review month end packages from hotels and ensure compliance with SSAE-16 requirements and SSAE-18 audits.Communicate and work collaboratively with various groups including supervisors, operations, corporate, and owners.Work with assigned hotels on calculation of quarterly and annual bonuses, and submitting them for payment in a timely manner; file and archive records and process rebills.FundamentalsBachelors Degree in the area of Accounting/Finance desired. Two (2) to four (4) years of multi-unit experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are expected. This position requires the ability to compile facts and figures; basic to intermediate Excel experience required. You will regularly use a computer, various software and a calculator. You must be able to communicate effectively and courteously over the telephone and in person.
